Hello !! I am Tutor Farahiyah (also known as Far). Since high school, I have a strong enthusiasm in tutoring. I am a science stream student, I scored 7A+ 2A on my previous SPM exam, earning me a perfect A. I consistently received As in Biology and Chemistry on my semester examinations during my upper school years. My main objective is to make sure that every one of my students receives the proper guidance and finds the best learning strategy for themselves. I personally believe that every student has the ability to reach their full potential if they are able to identify their optimal learning style.Beyond my role as a tutor, I also can offer supports and advice towards my students. I recognize that academic stress can have a harmful effect on students' performance, so I place equal importance on both their academic achievement and overall personal growth. Teaching Method(s)
As a post-millennial student, I understand the importance of fostering an engaging learning environment for my students in the classroom. I believe my recent SPM experience has helped me create a more effective teaching strategy to meet my students' needs, enabling them to achieve an A+ on their exams.Therefore, in my class, I will divide the lesson time into two sessions. The first session will involve my teaching, utilising the notes that I will provide. The second session will consist of past years exam paper exercises that I will complete together with my students. This will help the student get used to the format of an actual exams and refine their understanding further.
Other than that, I will use interesting acronyms to help my students memorise important terms better. I am very flexible with my teaching techniques, I am willing to change my methods occasionally in accordance to my students' abilities.
